The Riverfront Learning Garden:
Our garden is ready and the grounds look super! Many thanks to an energetic group of volunteers from Starbucks and the USS Mississippi. Cafe managers from the region, along with many of the Groton Starbucks partners worked all day cleaning up from winter's storms, and now all the plants our children started in their classrooms can go out! Thank you Starbucks and Mississippi! If you have seeds, or would like to help us prep the soil, please contact Susan Bailey at 860-445-8151. Last year was an amazing year, and we can't wait to share the growing season with you all again in 2013!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL RIVERFRONT FAMILIES, CHILDREN, FACULTY and STAFF! We were officially awarded our reaccreditation by NAEYC at the end of 2012! Everyone did their part, and helped to show NAEYC just how strong a program we are at Riverfront. Keep up the good work! Accreditation is a year-round process that we work on continually. Congratulations to all!
